In 2001-2002 President Pat Seager chose the Demelza House Children's Hospice as her charity.
In 2000-2001 President Topsy Hughes raised money for projects in Pakistan.
President Anne Hudson chose for her Presidential Year, 1999-2000 to support the Pestalozzi Children's Village Trust and the Soroptimist Residential Club.
President Helen Astin's project for 1998-99 was to support the Brighton Women's Refuge.
In 1994 as Headteacher of Varndean School in Brighton, Pam Bowmaker visited Scoala No. 3 in Gura Humorului, a town 300 miles north of Bucharest. She felt there was a need for some sort of Mothers and Toddlers Group so that young mothers could benefit from the support of shared experiences and decided that this would be the chosen charity for her Presidential Year in 1996-97. President Joan Pilkington adopted the same project for 1997-98.
