Henry Hudson and Mary Ann Gilbert were married in the Chapel of Garford in the Parish of Marcham, Berks on 31st October 1864.
John Hudson, son of Mark Hudson and Amy Dyer, baptised Fyfield 23.9.1815, buried Fyfield 1/11/1846, and Ann Ayers, baptised Garford 22/11/1818, buried Wantage 15/11/1876, daughter of Henry Ayers and Sophia Morgan, were married at Fyfield, 21st October 1839.
Mark Hudson, the father of John and grandfather of Henry, was baptised at Fyfield in 1786, the son of John Hudson and Sarah ? , and died in Fyfield May 1859. He married Amy Dyer (1788-1834) at Fyfield 6 Jun 1808. Hannah Page (1790-1849) at Fyfield 6 Sep 1825, Sarah Hudson (1807-1885 his great niece!) 2 Dec 1850 Fyfield. He also fathered an Illegitimate son, Mark Hudson Dunsdon (1806-1869) with Phoebe Dunsdon (1787-1852).
